Construction Law
Real estate development remains the bedrock of business in Florida.
And construction - both residential and commercial - is still Florida's leading industry.
Florida's construction laws present a complex maze that discourage owner, designer, contractor
and supplier alike, and make the assistance of experienced counsel a must. In Florida, the failure
to comply with each and every step of the lien and bond laws spells trouble. Kass, Shuler,
Solomon, Spector, Foyle & Singer, P.A. provides the construction with a variety of services,
including the preparation and service of statutory notices and claims of lien on projects anywhere
in Florida.
Kass, Shuler, Solomon, Spector, Foyle & Singer, P.A. represents all segments of the construction
industry. Our clients include owners and developers of real estate, design professionals in the
fields of architecture and engineering, contractors, and suppliers across the entire state of Florida.
We use the latest in information technology to help you:
1.) before the work begins, we review and prepare contracts;
2.) during the work, we advise on the myriad of problems that arise during the
course of construction, including contract disputes, terminations and
recommencement;
3.) we prepare the notices, claims, liens and other documents required by
Florida's Construction Lien and Public Works laws; and
4.) after the work is finished, we file and defend litigation and in arbitration
proceedings.
Whether it's a problem with a leaky roof on a single family home, a claim of lien
against a high rise condominium, a dispute that brings a halt to site work on a
subdivision, or any other construction issue, Kass, Shuler, Solomon, Spector,
Foyle & Singer, P.A. has experience in representing every part of the construction
industry. Our technology and experience can help you solve your construction
problem.
