Administrative Asst – Foreclosure

Perform a variety of routine clerical duties involving the initiation and intake of title files in support of high-volume foreclosure practice of law firm. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, simple mail processing; opening files for all aspects of the foreclosure/default process, data entry for file setup, preparation of demand letters and guardian ad litem packages, routing title orders to the appropriate vendor; filing court documents electronically; updating vendors or clients with case status; updating Perfect Practice with corresponding information.

Education/Experience:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years in professional office setting

Legal Assistant – Foreclosure

As a Foreclosure Legal Assistant, you will be responsible for a portfolio of cases where Complaint has been filed however Judgment is pending and work to get judgment entered. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, preparation of pleadings and correspondence, docket review, review of incoming mail to determine actions needed, update case management database and client programs, request, interpret and respond to attorney directives.

Education/Experience:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
  • 2-3 years law firm experience or equivalent relationship management experience preferred

Collector

We handle collections for our clients which are banks and credit unions (hence 3rd party). Performs third party collection duties for commercial and retail clients, which includes making collections calls and responding to debtor calls on files. Prepares legal documents supporting the collection process. Performs electronic, phone and mail research to locate debtors that have not been served. Uses software programs to document information on a defendant so they can be served. Updates process servers, attorneys, and legal department clerks with new information for collections purposes.

Education/Experience:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of 3rd party collection experience
  • Bi-Lingual is a plus
